When and where are the services?

Metro is located at 2530 South Avenue, on the south side of Youngstown. Our service starts at 10am every Sunday.

What should I wear?

At Metro dress varies from jeans and t-shirts to business casual. Our goal is not to impress others or hold a fashion show; it is to connect with God, so wear what makes you feel most comfortable!

What happens when I get there?

Our first time guests rave about how warm and friendly our greeters and hosts are. So upon your arrival you will be greeted by a Metro team member, shown some key places in the church (the Hub, restrooms, Kids Check-In and Common Grounds Café) and then you will be seated in our sanctuary.

In the Hub you can find out about all of our events, sign up for an event, learn about our outreach efforts and even discover opportunities to serve.

What is the service like?

Metro’s Sunday worship gathering is one of a kind. We start with a warm greeting, go to prayer and then we engage in praise and worship. Some weeks you will hear contemporary worship songs, gospel music and even songs in Spanish from time-to-time. This is because of the diversity our church enjoys. And the sermons are always Biblical, applicable, challenging and memorable. Most of our guest tell us that they return because of the preaching of the Word and the friendliness of our people.

What about my kids?

We love kids and have an area designed just for them. Kids birth through 5th grade have a program during service where they get to learn about Jesus. Our fun, safe environment uses a check-in system which you can make faster by pre-registering them. 

On Sunday mornings the middle school students (grades 6-8) gather upstairs for their own Bible lesson. High school students are invited to join you in the main service.
