Metro’s Next Step Program is your way of becoming more familiar with the beliefs, mission and ministries of our church. And it’s our desire to help you (1) gain a greater level of comfort with us, (2) discover, grow and use the gifts God has given you and (3) enable you to make a positive and critical difference in the lives of others.
Get to Know Metro
Your familiarity, comfort and ability to impact others will come in the form of four consecutive gatherings that will take place during the months of February, May, August and November. And upon the completion of the four gatherings, you will be eligible for membership and given the privilege of leading or assisting in a wide-range of ministries within the church. This is because we believe that you were meant for something far greater (Ephesians 2:10, Galatians 6:10 and Hebrews 13:16).
The Four Gatherings
STEP 1 - In our first gathering you will GET TO KNOW MORE about Metro Assembly, its beliefs, vision, leadership and the expectations for membership.
STEP 2 - Our second gathering is all about CONNECTING WITH YOU on a more personal level. We’d love to get to know more about you, your family, your background and your greatest desires.
STEP 3 - In our third gathering, we will help you DISCOVER YOUR GOD-GIVEN GIFTINGS and thus enable you to become more useful to the Lord, His church, our community and world.
STEP 4 - In the final gathering you will learn about all the ministries within the church and HOW YOU CAN SERVE in the three ministries that best match your God-given giftings.
