Metro Nine
Here at Metro there are nearly 50 ministries that will give you an opportunity to serve and impact others for the cause of Christ Jesus. These opportunities range from being on our Parking Lot Team, to our Kid’s Ministry Crew, to serving as Greeters and even to our Care Team. So no matter what your age, experience or skill set may be, there’s a place where you can be used.

Care Ministry
Funerals, Visitations, Meals, Member Engagement and Benevolence
Traditionally called ‘pastoral care,’ these ministries seek to provide love and support to individuals and families during times of difficulty, struggle or loss.
First Impressions
Ushers, Greeters, Parking Lot Team, Café, Guest Follow Up and the Hub
These ministries are set to make our guests feel welcome, our regulars feel at home and to create a friendly atmosphere where anyone can immediately sense God's love at work.
Discipleship
Bible Study, Night of Prayer, Next Steps, Growth Track, Men’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry
Christ Jesus has called us to know of Him and follow Him faithfully. So this ministry is uniquely positioned to help individuals and families grow to become mature, fruitful Christians.
Family Life
Kid’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Young Adults and Couples Ministry
At Metro it is our desire to ignite and instill a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ from cradle to career. Therefore these ministries key on faith fundamentals, healthy relationships and age-appropriate fellowship.
Missions/Outreach
Global Missions, Local Outreach, Now Youngstown, Mission Trips and Nursing Home Ministry
The Gospel compels us to share the greatest story ever told with people ‘across the street and across the sea.’ So these ministries will give you an opportunity to impact others in very real and direct ways.
Worship Arts
Worship Team, Audio/Visual Team and Choir
Worship is a critical part of the fabric that makes Metro unique. Yet music alone is just a part of our weekly encounters with the Lord. So we encourage those with any musical talent or that are tech savvy to become a part of our worship arts teams.
Administration
Clerical, Event Planning, Digital Platforms, Communications and Organization
Metro has many wonderful opportunities for all those that appreciate organization, creativity and keeping people informed. In fact, these ‘behind the scenes’ folk are vital to all we do. So if this sounds like you, be sure to join one of these teams.
Sunday Services
Service Hosts, Communion Servers, Prayer Team, Water Baptism, Production
For us, ‘Sundays are fun days’ because we gather to worship, connect with others, give to God and hear a great Word. Yet in order for all this to take place, a dedicated crew of people is needed. So if you want to be a part of lives being impacted for the good, sign up for one of these teams.
Stewardship
Building Maintenance, Custodial, Security and Transportation
God has called us to steward all His gifts and resources well. And we know that the better we do this, the more He will entrust to us. So if you have a heart for keeping people safe and things running well these are the ministries for you.

Serving on a ministry team at Metro is a great way to meet new people, build friendships, and experience personal growth as you use your abilities to serve others. Scripture calls us to use our gifts, skills and talents to bless, encourage and enrich one another. Hence there are many wonderful ways to get involved beyond the Sunday morning experience.
